Proof There is a God
by Brian Price 11/06/2011

Watch/Listen To "Proof There Is A God" (Atheism Is Funny, Part 5) on GodTube!

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1

The Bible says that faith is the evidence of things not seen. Faith requires proof. Many times, people bash Christianity because they think we have no proof for any claims we have. ON THE CONTRARY. The entire world is a witness to God, including those who despise him!

"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." - John 15:18
If there is no God, then why do people hate him? Hmm.....

The truth is, people are so set in their ways that they absolutely refuse to believe in God unless they actually see God. Doubting Thomas struggled with this same folly, as do many of us.

Thomas said the following concerning seeing God:

"...Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe." - John 19:25
When Jesus actually DID show up, the Bible says that he reproved him for his unbelief and hardness of heart because he did not believe those who had seen him after he was risen from the dead!
"Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen." - Mark 16:14
Jesus later said, "Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." - John 20:29

What you have here is a classic example of an unbeliever. They require nothing less than God standing in front of them in order to believe. But God doesn't just show up upon the demands of some ranting and raving lunatick atheist.

So you want proof there is a God?

I'll give you proof.

But you know what? It still won't change your mind.

How do I know? Because the Bible says this:

"And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." - Luke 16:31
I know that it won't change your mind because Jesus told us through a parable about a rich man who went to hell, that even though God would raise someone from the dead, it would not be enough to convince someone otherwise to repent of their sins and trust in God! The bottom line of the parable was that if people do not listen to what the BIBLE has to say about God, about heaven, about hell; then it doesn't matter what else God does, because it won't avail to ANYTHING.

You can read the parable in Luke chapter 16, verses 19 through 31.

Take this food for thought. God was actually phyisically present by a pillar of cloud by day, and a pillar of fire by night with the children of Israel (the Jews) when they exited the land of Egypt. They literally heard his voice from heaven.

Yet, it still wasn't enough for them. God still called them children in whom is no faith (Deuteronomy 32:20).

"The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire..." - Deuteronomy 5:4
God reappeared to the Jews over a thousand years later, and do you know what they did to him then? They crucified him!

He is coming again, and the world will make war with him.

Over and over we can see throughout history that the issue is not, "Is there a God?" The issue is, "When will man love God and obey his voice?"

Yet, without further ado, here is THE PROOF!

The Jews are like no other people group on earth. They are probably the most hated race on earth, but at the same time, they are probably the most beloved race on earth too. The Jews can be found in nearly every nation on earth. They rise to positions of authority and power, and they seem to have the uncanny ability to harness wealth unlike any other race. Even their military (Israeli military) is one of the most powerful military forces on earth. It almost seems like God favors them. That's because he does my friend! They are a blessed (privileged) people.

Listen to this interesting promise God made to the father of the Jews (Abraham):

"6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." - Genesis 17:6-8
The land of Palestine, which is also known as the land of Canaan, or as we know it today to be, Israel, is the land which God promised to Abraham and to his seed, the Jews. He said that he would give it to them for an everlasting possession.

History books make statements like this one in regards to the Jews being in occupation of Israel in times past:

"Toward the end of the thirteenth century, we find the first mention of 'Hebrews,' who may have been identical with, or affiliated to, the bands of nomads, bandits, and brigands called 'Apiru' or 'Habiru' in Egyptian texts (the issue is much debated). The name 'Israel' itself is first found on a stele of Pharaoh Merenptah, which according to the so-called middle chronology is dated c. 1210 B.C..." - A History of Palestine: From the Ottoman Conquest to the Founding of the State of Israel, written by Gudrun Kramer, page 4.
This mention of the name "Habiru" in Egyptian texts is a light reference to one of the Tell el-Amarna tablets (also known as the Armarna Letters).

One of the Tell el-Amarna tablets

One of these tablets makes this strange, but interesting statement, in which Abdi-Heba, governor of Jerusalem, pled for help from Pharaoh Akhenaton:

"To the king my lord, say. Thus saith Abdi-Heba thy servant. At the feet of the King, my lord, seven times and seven times I prostrate myself.... The Habiru are capturing the fortresses of the King. May the King care for his land. The Habiru are taking the cities of the King." - Taken from "Archaeological Supplement," The Thompson Chain-Reference Bible, by Dr. G. Frederick Owen, D.D., Ed.D.
The Tell el-Amarna tablets refer quite frequently to the Khabiri when refering to a people who were overthrowing the country. Many scholars believe the Khabiri (Habiru) to be the Hebrews (the Jews), and the tablets fit well with the dates of 1400 B.C., exactly the time for when the Jews made conquest of the land of Palestine under the command of Joshua. It has been said, "Here we have a story of Joshua's conquest of Canaan from the enemy's side."

Is it any wonder that the Bible perfectly narrates the conquest of Canaan in flawless detail? And here we have archeology confirming what we read. Not only so, but even the religiously skeptic writer of the book, A History of Palestine, Gudrun Kramer, is forced to admit that, yes, the Habiru were in fact the Jews.

Let us now look at the scriptures' narration of the events:

"7 And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west...
9 The king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;
10 The king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one...
24 ...all the kings thirty and one." - Joshua 12:7-10, 24
As you can see, the king of Jerusalem was included in this list of kings who were conquered by the Jews. Abdi-Heba, the one who mentions himself in the Armana tablet, was more than likely this governor, or king, which the Bible speaks of.

But Mr. Kramer is not the only historian writing books confirming that the Jews did indeed inhabit the land of ancient Israel. There is hardly a history book out there that denies that the Jews inhabited the land of Canaan.

Just listen to what one college text book has to say:

"By a series of attacks on Canaanite cities and by covenants made with other tribes, the Israelites established themselves in Palestine. About 1230 B.C. they invaded Canaanite territory in a campaign aimed at expansion." - The Western Experience, by Mortimer Chambers, Barbara Hanawalt, Theodore K. Rabb, Isser Woloch, Lisa Thersten, copywrite 2010, page 23
Skeptics cannot deny the fact that the Jews possessed the promised land of Israel in ancient times. In fact, they are forced to admit it because it is written in stone, literally (the Tell el-Armana tablets)!

Now that we've established the truth that the Jews did indeed inhabit the land of Palestine centuries ago, let us move onto the next truth which shall lead us to our desired conclusion; the proof God exists. We shall now talk about the Jewish Diaspora.

It is a historical fact that not only did Jews inhabit Palestine, but they were also dispersed into many countries due to war. This did not just happen once, but it actually happened twice.

Around 1312 B.C., Moses recorded these words of God when he spake to the Jews right before they were to inherit the land of Canaan....

"63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone." - Deuteronomy 28:63-64
God foretold the future that he would scatter the Jews among all people if they would not hearken to God's voice to obey him.
"And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste." - Leviticus 26:33

"And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you." - Deuteronomy 4:27

This came to pass in 585 B.C., when King Nebuchadnezzar beseiged Jerusalem for 13 years, and led the Jews into captivity and brought them to Babylon. Almost 200 years prior to the seige, Israel's other 10 tribes had been brought into captivity by the Assyrians.

This is what historians call the Jewish Diaspora. The Jews were literally dispersed into all the known world.

This same phenomenon happened in 70 A.D. by the Roman Empire, nearly 40 years after Jesus made this prophecy:

"And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." - Luke 21:24
Around the year 70 A.D., nearly 40 years after Jesus spoke this prophecy, the Jews were surrounded in Jerusalem by the Roman General Titus and his army. The city was taken in the siege, and the Jews were plundered, and led captive into the nations surrounding Israel.
"1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." - Matthew 24:1-2
Around 30 A.D., Jesus prophesied that not one stone of the Jewish temple would remain. He foretold of the Roman siege against Jerusalem in 70 A.D. in which, literally, there remained not one stone of the Jewish Temple upon another. Ancient writer Thielman J. van Braught says this in regards to this prophecy:
"...for this city and the Temple which was in it, were laid waste and totally demolished and destroyed, first by the Chaldeans, in the time of Jeremiah, and subsequently by the Romans, who conquered the land of Canaan and Jerusalem; so that, according to the prophecy of Christ, not one stone was left upon another." - The Bloody Theater or Martyrs Mirror of the Defenseless Christians, testimonies compiled by Thieleman J. van Braght, Page 23, written in 1660
An even more ancient writer, Josephus Flavius (Born 37 A.D., Died 100 A.D.) states the following about the Temple in 70 A.D.:
"And thus was the holy house burned down, without Ceasar's approbation." - The Wars of the Jews Or History Of the Destruction of Jerusalem, Book VI, Chapter 4, verse 7

"...but for all the rest of the wall, it was so thoroughly laid even with the ground by those that dug it up to the foundation, that there was left nothing to make those that came thither believe it had ever been inhabited. This was the end which Jerusalem came to..." - The Wars of the Jews Or History of the Destruction of Jerusalem, Book VII, Chapter 1, verse 1

Even Wikipedia contains the same information in regards to the temple and the Jews' demise. Below is a picture taken from the article on Wikipedia titled "Siege of Jerusalem." It can be found at the following link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Jerusalem_(70)

The photo's caption on Wikipedia says the following: "Stones from the Western Wall of the Temple Mount (Jerusalem) thrown onto the street by Roman soldiers on the Ninth of Av, 70."

Below is a picture of the Arch of Titus, built in 82 A.D and located in Rome. It was built by Roman Emperor Domitian, which stands as a testament to this prophecy of Jesus that Jerusalem would be destroyed, and that the Jews would be carried away into the nations of the earth:

All of these evidences regarding the Jews lead us to the conclusion that, yes, the Jews were in fact dispersed into the countries which surrounded Jerusalem, and likely into every nation on earth.

According to The Jewish Virtual Library, there are approximately 95 countries* in which Jews are found to be living in, not including disputed territories.

Jews literally live in all 4 corners of the earth. Jews are found in every continent. In the United States (North America), there are approximately 5,275,000 Jews. In Argentina (South America), there are 182,300. In South Africa, 70,800. In China (Asia), 1,500 Jews. In the European Union, there are 1,118,000. And in Israel (Middle East), there are 5,703,700 Jews, the largest concentration of Jews on earth.

No other people (ethnic) group on earth has been found in so many nations as the Jews, with so large of numbers, so spread out. If you want proof, the Jews are the first piece of evidence we have in proving the existence of God.

The second proof for the existence of God I'd like to talk about now is the persecution of the Church. You see, Jews have not been the only group of people who have been persecuted and destroyed without a cause. The Christians, like the Jews, have been a target for hatred for centuries. No other persecution has been so detailed so vividly, not only by historians, but also by the very own words of Jesus, centuries before the persecutions ever began occuring.

Now, let me explain how the persecutions unfolded, and then I shall explain how they prove God's very existence.

Before the Lord Jesus ascended to heaven, he told the disciples these very words:

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." - John 16:33
The Bible also says this:
"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." - 2 Timothy 3:12
It is an established fact that Christians are the most hated and persecuted religious group in the entire world. According to one survey, of every 100 persons killed for religious hatred, 75 are Christians.*

*INTERVENTION BY THE HOLY SEE AT THE 16th ORDINARY SESSION OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/secretariat_state/2011/documents/rc_seg-st_20110302_religious-freedom_en.html

If one were to take an average of 2 people per day who died for Jesus since the day he ascended to heaven around 30 A.D., and add up the total, the number would be approximately 1,443,940 martyrs.

"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb..." - Revelation 7:9
In the book of Revelation, the apostle John sees a vision of a multitude of all nations, which were come out of great tribulation (verse 14). Apparently, this is the prophetic vision of the martyrs who will lose their life in the last days when the Antichrist shall rule the world. The scripture says of the multitude that "no man could number." This eludes to a number which is so large, that no one could possibly count every person. The largest number in scripture that deals with a multitude of people is the Army of Armageddon, which is numbered at 200,000,000 (two hundred million).

According to the Christian Post, there are approximately 2.14 billion Christians in the world today, nearly a third of the 7 billion people total. However, if we take into account that this number includes non-practicing Christians, and Christians who are hypocritical in their faith, we must reduce this number quite significantly because the scripture tells us that "...strait is the gate and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." - Matthew 7:14.

But even if only 10 percent of these 2.14 billion Christians were in fact true, practicing Christians, then we would still have over 200 million Christians in the world. That many Christians would roughly equal the countries of Germany (82 million) and Japan (109 million) put together.

Given these statistics, we are limited to only what we know about the Christians in our world today. These numbers do not include the number of Christians who lived 100 years ago, 200 years ago, and so on. The number of souls who are to enter into the kingdom of God is astronomical. And here we have a simple verse (Rev. 7:9) which describes ONLY the Christians who will be given the martyrs crown during the seven year tribulation of Antichrist. This verse does not include the number of Christians who died in peace over the past centuries in all the world. One can only imagine how large a crowd will truly be in heaven.

"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." - John 15:18
Jesus specifically detailed persecutions of Christians. He said the world would hate them, that family members would betray them, and that kings and governments would bring them before their councils and before their thrones to try them, and to kill them.

Persecution of Christians Under Emperor Diocletian and Maximus (301 A.D.)

80 Waldensians (Christians) Burned in Strasbourg around 1215 A.D.

"35 ...and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect." - Hebrews 11:35-40

In the following two incredible verses, Jesus spoke these words:

"They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me." - John 16:2-3
The Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II, one of the most powerful men next to the Pope in all of the Middle Ages, wrote this decree in 1230 A.D., in regards to the Christians which at the time were called Waldenses and Albigenses (Anabaptists):
"...if you will do your utmost unitedly with these brethren (the Dominicans and Franciscans) to expunge from our dominion the blot of this unheard-of heretical wickedness (thus he calls the true faith), you will render unto God a pleasing, and unto us a commendable, service." - Martyrs Mirror of the Defenseless Christians, page 317.
Notice, that this prophecy of Jesus was fulfilled 1,200 years after he foretold of men killing Christians, thinking that they were doing God service. Not only did he say that some who killed Christians would think they are doing God service, but he also stated that they would do these things because they never truly knew Jesus himself. Yet, many of the Christians killed were massacred by the Catholic Church, which was supposed to represent Jesus Christ, but in truth, that church was only doing the work of the Devil. Had they known Jesus, they would have kept his commandment of, "Thou shalt not kill." - Exodus 20:13. They would not have killed innocent Christians claiming to do God service, while professing the name of Jesus.

So how does Christian persecution prove God exists? If Jesus were not God, there is absolutely no way he could foretell that such atrocities would be committed in his name against his own followers, with such precise details. It is the fact that Jesus foreknew all things, including the Christian persecutions, which proves that God does indeed exist.

"25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself..." - Daniel 9:25-26

The single most definitive proof for God is Jesus Christ, the Word of God. The above prophecy from Daniel was recorded sometime between 538 and 506 B.C. [*].

* Abdullah Yusuf Ali|The Holy Qur'an: Text, Translation and Commentary, Note.150

Daniel's prophecy of the Messiah is the only prophecy in the Old Testament that contains the word "Messiah." No other place in the Old Testament contains this reference to Messiah. The next time the word Messiah is seen in the Bible is in the book of John chapter 1 verse 41 in the New Testament.

"He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ." - John 1:41

As the apostle explains, the word Messias (Messiah) means Christ. So when one says Jesus is the Christ, this means that Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus Christ = Jesus Messiah.

This term Messiah has evolved over time and the word is more commonly known among modern Jews as Moshiach. Messiah (Moshiach or Christ) simply means Anointed One. Many modern translations of the Bible change the word Messiah in Daniel's prophecy to say "Anointed One," which is essentially the same.

Daniel's prophecy of Messiah has been a source of debate, especially among skeptics for well over 100 years [*].

* Dave Hunt, When Will Jesus Come?, ch. 10, page 93

It is a source of debate because this prophecy was written about 500 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. According to Dave Hunt, skeptics assume the prophecy had to have come after the life of Jesus, but Orthodox Jews and Christians refute this claim. Indeed it is impossible to make this conclusion since the history of the Old Testament is a well established fact. One example is the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Dead Sea Scrolls are thought to be at the least, written around 60 A.D., but could also be as old as 150 B.C. [*] And since the Dead Sea Scrolls are simply copies of certain books of the Old Testament, to include the book of Daniel, it makes perfect sense to assume that the book of Daniel is far older than 60 A.D., or even much older than 150 B.C.

* Bruce, F. F.. "The Last Thirty Years". Story of the Bible. ed. Frederic G. Kenyon. Retrieved June 19, 2007. http://www.worldinvisible.com/library/kenyon/storyofbible/2ck11.htm

Therefore it is safe to conclude that this prophecy of the Messiah was indeed written well before the life of Jesus. What is interesting about this prophecy is that it indicates not only the coming of the Messiah, but that the Messiah would be "cut off, but not for himself." This usage of the term "cut off" appears in another prominent Messianic passage of the Old Testament, Isaiah ch. 53.

"He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken" - Isaiah 53:8
As Isaiah properly foretold, the Messiah would be cut off for the transgressions of God's people. The Messiah's prophesied life would serve to be an offering for sin for all people. Jesus fulfilled this prophecy of Daniel 483 years to the very day from the time King Xerxes (Artaxerxes) gave the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem until the day that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey in 33 A.D., and was then crucified under the Roman Prefect Pontius Pilate.

But the prophecies surrounding Jesus as the Jewish Messiah does not end with Daniel's prophecy. According to Dr. Terry Watkins, there are approximately 300 prophesies from the Old Testament that Jesus fulfilled, and perhaps more. [*]

* Dr. Terry Watkins, That Amazing Book, http://www.av1611.org/amazing.html

Professor Peter Stoner, author of Science Speaks, took 8 of those 300 prophecies, and made this astonishing calculation in regards to the odds of any one person fulfilling that many prophecies:

"Let us try to visualize this chance. . . Suppose that we take 10 to the 17th power silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas. They will cover all of the state two feet deep. Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly. . . Blindfold a man and tell him. . . he must pick up one silver dollar . . . What chance would he have of getting the right one? Just the same chance that the prophets would have had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all come true in any one man." (Science Speaks, pp. 106 - 107)
Here are just 8 of those 300 prophecies:

1. Messiah would be born of a virgin:

Prophecy - "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." - Isaiah 7:14

Fulfillment - "And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS." - Luke 1:30-31

2. Messiah would be crucified:

Prophecy - "For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet." - Psalms 22:16

Fulfillment - "And it was the third hour, and they crucified him." - Mark 15:25

3. Messiah would be born in Bethlehem:

Prophecy - "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." - Micah 5:2

Fulfillment - "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem." - Matthew 2:1

4. Messiah would be the King of Israel:

Prophecy - "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS." - Jeremiah 23:5-6

Fulfillment - "And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS." - Luke 23:38

5. Messiah would be rejected by his own people:

Prophecy - "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not." - Isaiah 53:3

Fulfillment - "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." - John 15:18

6. Messiah would be a priest after the order of Melchizedek:

Prophecy - "The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek." - Psalms 110:4

Fulfillment - "Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec." - Hebrews 6:20

7. Messiah would return to rule the world:

Prophecy - "I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." - Daniel 7:13-14

Fulfillment - "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: and before him shall be gathered all nations..." - Matthew 25:31-32

8. Messiah would redeem his people from their sins:

Prophecy - "And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities." - Psalms 130:8

Fulfillment - "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." - Matthew 1:21

All of these prophesies are unquestionable, undeniable proof that there truly is a God.

I originally intended for this article to go on much longer. I was determined to make this THE longest article I have ever written. And for good reason. The very foundation of the gospel is built upon God, and faith in him. If one does not believe in God, then there is absolutely no hope for them whatsoever. Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God, for he that cometh to God MUST believe that he IS... (Heb. 11:6). I don't make the rules, God already did.

I strongly believe that the greatest threat to the world right now is not Islam. It is not Hinduism. It is not Catholicism. It is ATHEISM. I know without a doubt that the One World Government, when it is established, will be a form of Hyper-Humanism. It will exalt man as God, and dethrone God. That is the very heart of atheism. A peaceful atheist is content not knowing anything about God because he really has no need to believe in God. But a religiously zealous atheist wants nothing more than to see God dethroned, and man exalted. It is quite hellish to say the least.

My prayer is that this article will open the eyes of both the passive and the aggressive atheist. God does not want either to perish. But he wishes for all to be saved and to go to heaven. There's no way getting around the love of God. Because God IS love.

I could have written more, and somehow I wish I did. There is a plethora amount of evidence that points to God. The very simple fact that there is evil in the world points to the fact that there is devil. Likewise, the fact that there is a great amount of good in the world points to the fact that there is a God.

Logic proves there is a God. Just like you cannot put 2,000 random letters on a page, then throw some water on it, and then presto! You have an authentic piece of novelty. So likewise, you cannot throw millions of cells and organisms into a primordial soup, add some water and lightning, and presto! You have life. No my friend. Things just don't work that way.

Miracles prove there is a God. You cannot tell me that miracles do not happen, because they do... everyday. How can you explain how a demon gets cast out of a person in Jesus name? I'll explain how. Because demonic possession is real, and the name of Jesus is real!

Or how can you explain how a once sex-crazed, lustful, porn addicted individual gets set free from all of those sins? I will explain how. He called upon the name of the Lord Jesus, and the Son of God set him free, just like the Bible promises.

"34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." - John 8:34-36
You can't tell me miracles don't happen. I KNOW THEY HAPPEN. I've seen them. I'VE EXPERIENCED THEM. Don't tell me there isn't a God. I KNOW THERE IS. Just because somebody gets up in front of an entire college and says God is not real because science says so, does that mean he's right?

No. That just means HE'S DECEIVED.
