No Good Fruit Without The Bible

"14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience." - Luke 8:14-15

We read here in Luke chapter 8 about the parable of the sower. The sower goes along to sow his seed. As he sows, some seed grows into a crop while others are eaten up or withered away, or trodden under foot. This gives us a picture that there are 4 potential hearers of the word of God. Those who receive it for a short while. Those who refuse to receive it. Those who receive it but later lose interest. And those who receive it with a good heart. When you realize that you cannot do anything without the word of God, that is when you will be prosperous. When the Bible becomes your God, then you will be holy. When the Bible takes root in your heart, then you will be loving. You cannot be a Christian without the Bible. You cannot be a strong man of God without the Bible. You cannot be an effective preacher without the Bible. It gives life to those who receive it. That's Bible basics 101. You need God's word to bring forth good fruit in your life such as love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Jesus said, "The words that I speak unto you, THEY ARE SPIRIT, and they are life." - John 6:63. You cannot separate God from the Bible. They are one and the same. This is why it is so important for you to read the RIGHT VERSION as well (the King James Version). Do you want faith? Read the Bible. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the WORD OF GOD." You want love? Read the Bible. You want the fruit of the Spirit? Read the Bible. Ladies and gentlemen, when are we going to realize that THE BIBLE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF OUR LIVES?
