Denying God With Our Works
By Brian Price 11/24/2012

"They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." - Titus 1:16
Do you know what the three great monotheistic faiths of the world have in common? They all believe in God. Whether you are a Christian, a Jew, or a Muslim, all of the three largest faiths believe there is a God. Do you know what else they have in common? Hypocrisy. You see, we can acknowledge God all day long with our lips, but if our heart is far from him, then we are worshipping God in vain. Jesus said, "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." Denying Christ does not necessarily mean doing so with one's lips, but it also means doing so with one's actions.
