More Died Under Atheism
Than Those Who Died In The Crusades

"15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." - Jesus Christ, Gospel of Matthew 7:15-20

**BRIAN'S NOTE**
Below is a recent conversation I had with fellow believers on the topic of atheism and it's brutality. The obstacle we face as Christians today is the slander from unbelievers who try to get people to focus on only the atrocities committed in the name of religion, as opposed to simply pointing out atrocities committed by human beings, whether religious or not. But after close examination of history, we see that those who killed in the cause of atheism actually killed MORE than the people who fought for a religious cause. Instead of focusing on the beam in their own eye, unbelievers have the audacity to worry about the speck in the eye of religion. As you just read from the above quotation taken from the gospel of Matthew, Jesus clearly stated that there would be false prophets who would come to the people in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they would be ravening wolves. On the surface, those committing the atrocities in the name of religion appeared to be "religious," but under the surface, those committing these atrocities were in fact die-hard skeptics (unbelievers, God-haters, etc.). Of course, what better way to make true God-fearing Christians look like murderous psychopaths than to say those committing the atrocities were Christians, but in truth they were skeptics all along? Even if things like the crusades were done in the name of religion, we can clearly see that the loss of life is FAR greater on the opposing spectrum. In any case, such atrocities were NOT committed by true, born again believers, but rather, they were committed by godless unbelievers ALL THROUGHOUT history, as you will now find out by reading the below conversation.

Brian - "Stalin killed more people in the name of atheism than any popes did for the cause of a crusade combined."

Carol - "Brian, what is your source for that bit of info? I'm not disputing it (though I don't see the relevance to this discussion) but you do know the true history of the Catholic "church" has been hidden or rewritten to conceal the atrocities committd in the name of their false religion. Further, there are many who would argue the point with you, since their involvement with Hitler and other dictators has been suspected, if not proven, for many years."

Carol - "Okay, I guess I am disputing it! Lol"

Brian - "LoL. I will have to find the data and I will post it. Even when people do claim popes were doing atrocities in the name of religion, investigation reveals that they were skeptics themselves - equal terms as Stalin if you will. For example, atheists throw mud at saints by saying Hitler was a "Christian", however, close scrutiny shows that he was a die hard skeptic but using his religious affiliations as a means of propaganda to gain public support. Same goes for the Norway mass murderer Anders Breivik. He was an atheist and even denied Jesus and God as being necessary to be a Christian saying that Christian values were all that were necessary, and not a relationship with Jesus Christ. Perfect example of a wolf in sheep's clothing."

Brian - "The skeptic and God-hating community purposely dress up in church clothing for a purpose to gain public trust, but later carry out their true hidden agenda of divide and destroy. Seen it all too often."

Travis - "read Smokescreens by Jack Chick. He has and shows with pictures how Catholic Hitler and his officers were..."

Brian - "yes i have read it. no doubt Hitler was an agent of Rome. but as far as his personal beliefs are concerned, he was diametrically opposed to God and Jesus Christ, which classifies him more as a skeptic (a God-hater) than a "Christian.""

Brian - "Crusades highest death toll estimate - 3 Million*. Death under communist fist of Joseph Stalin - 23+ Million**.

See *List of wars and anthropogenic disasters by death toll (wikipedia) and **World War II casualties (wikipedia)."

Brian - "Anders Breivik, mass murderer from Norway said, "It is enough that you are a Christian-agnostic or a Christian-atheist (an atheist who wants to preserve at least the basics of the European Christian cultural legacy...)." He also said, "...myself and many more like me do not necessarily have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God." (Wikipedia - Anders Breivik)"

Brian - ""In adulthood, Hitler became disdainful of Christianity, but in seeking out and in trying to retain power in Germany, he was prepared to set aside his views on religion out of political considerations. He repeatedly stated that Nazism was a secular ideology founded on science.[1] It is generally accepted by historians that Hitler's post war and long term goal was the eradication of Christianity in Germany.[2][3] The adult Hitler did not believe in the Judeo-Christian notion of God, though various scholars consider his final religious position may have been a form of deism." - Religious Views Of Adolf Hitler (Wikipedia)"

**CONCLUSION**
As you have just read, historical accounts explicitly state that Hitler did not believe in the Judeo-Christian notion of God despite his many references to God in his public speeches. It is absolutely ludicrous for atheists to say that "no atheist WOULD EVER commit such an atrocity" when the evidence is clear. Indeed, atheists are guilty of using the "No True Scotsman" argumentative fallacy in this case by trying to downplay atrocities committed by unbelievers like Hitler or Stalin. They throw the ball back in the court of believers and accuse them of being the ones to blame, when it was the skeptics themselves who committed these atrocities in the first place!

"In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." - 1 John 3:10

"We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." - 1 John 3:14-15

"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" - 1 John 4:20

The book of first John plainly teaches that no born-again believer could commit atrocities against the people of God unless he were in fact a child of the devil. Hence, it is a fallacy for unbelievers to make accusations against Christians by saying Hitler was a "Christian." Granted, it is certainly plausible to say that Hitler was indeed a false Christian due to his obvious use of Christian terminology in his speeches. But to say he was a Bible believing Christian would be a far cry.

The unbelievers need to claim their own children and quit trying to pawn them off on the Christians. Hitler was no more a Christian than Anders Breivik. And as you just read from his own lips, he admitted that he did NOT have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

In Breivik's manifesto, he wrote, "I'm not going to pretend I'm a very religious person, as that would be a lie."

He then calls religion a crutch and a source for drawing mental strength, and says "I've always been very pragmatic and influenced by my secular surroundings and environment."

He went even further to say, "A majority of so called agnostics and atheists in Europe are cultural conservative Christians without even knowing it. If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God then you are a religious Christian. Myself and many more like me do not necessarily have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God**."

The perplexing part of it all is not that he came out and admitted he was an unbeliever, but that people actually thought that somehow he was a Christian just because of his association to Christianity in a very mild sense. It would be no different than if he had eaten at McDonald's a few times, and then because of that, he would now be a happy meal. And Breivik is just a small picture of what Adolf Hitler was like. Here we have one psychopath making small references to Christianity, and now the whole world thinks Christians are to blame for his atrocities, when in fact it was his spiritual birth into the family of Satan that drove him to commit those murderous acts against the innocent.

"They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." - Titus 1:16
